I always love Valentine's Day (mainly because my hubby always makes such an effort to spoil me rotten on this day). Having kids has brought new fun to the holiday with baking cookies and decorating Valentines for friends. We had such a good time!
Since Mason was born, Mike and I have made it our tradition to order food to go from a favorite restaurant instead of trying to go out. It is ALWAYS a mad house out there - and with kids in tow, well, forget it! This year we picked Olive Garden and we stuffed ourselves! We started off with salad and breadsticks with some alfredo dipping sauce. YUM. Then we split the Tour of Italy. Double YUM. And we finished it off with some Tiramisu and Black Tie Mousse Cake. Triple YUM! It was so good!
Mike showed up at home from work early, and brought me balloons and 30 tulips! Tulips are my favorite flower. The kids loved the balloons! We all exchanged cards and I also gave Mike an iTunes gift card so he could get some more music. The kids loved opening their Valentine package from Gramby - and Eva wore the cute Valentine outfit Gramby sent! What a fun day! Here are the pics!
